91ÊÓƵGiving Day – Let’s make konzo disappear
A record number of students, staff, alumni and friends raised over $85,000 through the 91ÊÓƵGiving Day appeal to help prevent the disease konzo.
All funds raised directly support educational programs run in partnership with the National Institute of Nutrition in the Democratic Republic of Congo to teach villagers Dr Bradbury's affordable "wetting method". Dr Colin Taylor, Director of Principal Gifts, said that the 91ÊÓƵGiving Day shows the power of the 91ÊÓƵcommunity: "It was wonderful to see so many members of the 91ÊÓƵcommunity come together to support 91ÊÓƵresearch that has a global impact."
